Green Valley K9 is a full service daycare who focuses on safe productive play times while giving your dog the best day, every day! We deal completely with the dog who walks in the door and tailor their day to their needs and temperament.
Daycare is a great way to give your dog mental stimulation and exercise while you are busy during the work day.
What is my dog's day like?
Upon arrival pup's are brought back to their suite while our kennel staff separates them into their group! There are 3 different options for what type of group your pup will join.*
Green Valley K9 typically runs 4-5 play groups through out the day, monitored by our experienced staff. Groups are rotated through our amazing natural grass yards, indoor playroom, or our all-seasons indoor pool. Groups rotate every 20-30 minutes, which we run through out the whole day. Every dog gets plenty of rest with fresh water while other groups are out. For a full schedule of our days please see our Boarding page.
*All groups are created and based on behaviors that are observed by kennel staff. Please know that your dog may act different here than they do with you. They may have off days or moods that fluctuate and groups may change as they do.
*Socialization is never guaranteed.
We require all dog's participating in full and special group play to exhibit friendly acceptable behaviors. If your dog displays negative body language, rough play, or repeated mounting, they may be pulled from group either permanently or for the day. This will always be at the discretion of kennel staff.
Our kennel staff loves to take great photos through out the day of our groups playing! We post as many of these as we can to our Facebook, typically 2 times per day. We do not have any video cameras for client viewing.
Multi dog families receive 10% off per day.
Your dog's first day
**As of January 2021 all new dogs are subject to a wait list before their first day. We are doing our best to take in 2 new dogs per week but unfortunately our schedule is now full up to 2 months in advance.
All new dogs receive a complimentary day of daycare to get to know our staff and our facility. Your dog's first day with us is designed to be low pressure and taken very slow. They will never be thrown into a group before they are ready and comfortable. It is completely normal for your pup to be nervous in such a new environment!
You will receive a report card to your online account with some photos and information on how they did.
Vaccines are required BEFORE your dog comes in for their first day
Any dog who does not have updated vaccines are not allowed into the facility for services.
Vaccinations required for GVK9 are*:
*Owners are responsible for keeping dogs up to date on all shots and providing updated records as needed.
Knowing that your dog is in our expert care, you can rest assured that they are having the best day, every day.
