Boarding at Green Valley K9
When we say built from the dog up we mean it!
GVK9 is an all inclusive dog resort.
Our goal is to provide your dog the greatest day, every day!
Whether your best friend is here for boarding or daycare, the experience and access to all of our amenities is included.
What to expect for your pup' stay:
- Rooms range from 5x3 up to 9x12. Dogs are booked according to weight and number of dogs in the family.
- All rooms feature a window to the outside for natural light.
- A raised Kuranda bed is available for each pup with a soft fleece cover when requested.
- Sanitized bowl with water filled through out the day.
- Fresh quiet airflow to keep the atmosphere relaxed.
- 24-hour/7-day per week monitoring!
One of our three boarding wings is dedicated exclusively to dogs under 40 pounds. Yes, we thought about the comfort of our smaller guests! Smaller sized beds with the same fleece covering are provided for a truly custom boarding experience.
We tailor your dogs daily activities to their own personality and temperament. Activities include:
- Full group play. **
- Special (one-on-one) group play .**
- Private walks in the yard.
- Games of fetch.
- Pool time.
- Or, maybe your pup prefers just hanging out and snuggling with a staff member!
No matter what, we have something for everyone!
**Socialization is never guaranteed.
We require all dog's participating in full and special group play to exhibit friendly acceptable behaviors. If your dog displays negative body language, rough play, repeated mounting, they may be pulled from group either permanently or for the day. This will always be at the discretion of kennel staff.
** First time boarders who have not come for daycare will be kept solo with a staff member for their first 24-hours to acclimate to the building and get to know our staff! They can then be offered special or group play.
Next steps
Provide vaccinations and health records.
Any dog who does not have updated vaccines are not allowed into the facility for services.
Vaccinations required for GVK9 are:
- Current Rabies
- Yearly Bordatella (Kennel Cough)
- DHPP/DHLPP (Distemper/Parvo)
*Owners are responsible for keeping dogs up to date on all shots and providing updated records as need.
What do I bring?
Please bring your dog's food. If you have a specific scoop that you use that's great! During check in we will go over feeding amounts and instructions to confirm.
Any medications and medical issues will be discussed prior to drop off. Please be aware that dogs with severe medical issues are subject to manager approval for boarding, as we are not a medical boarding facility.
Any required medications must arrive in their original containers and include instructions regarding dosage amount and times for administration.
We cannot accept medications mixed with food.
*We will not be able to administer any inject-able medications, including insulin.
Dog Beds and Toys
Green Valley K9 provides a raised bed with the option to add on a fleece cover at no cost.
In addition you may bring a shirt with your family scent and a few durable toys like Kongs or Nylabones.
NO RAW HIDE TREATS
*Toys or bedding may be removed if determined to be a safety issue for the dog.
