Green Valley K9 New Dog Application

Welcome to GVK9!

Before applying, please review the following policies:

• Your dog(s) MUST be able to participate in group play to attend our facility. NO EXCEPTIONS.

• All dogs must successfully complete the trial daycare before moving on to our trial boarding. While it’s not required, we highly recommend bringing your dog(s) to daycare 3-5 times before booking a trial boarding visit.

• All dogs must be spayed/neutered before turning 8 months old. Services will be paused until we have received and validated the appropriate proof of operation. If applicable, clients will need to sign a spay/neuter policy form at their trial daycare visit.

• If the dog is adopted from a shelter/rescue/puppy mill, we require the dog to be established in their home for a minimum of 8 months.  GVK9 reserves the right to adjust this policy at any time.

• All dogs are required to be completely up to date on the following vaccines: Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). The client is responsible for providing updated paperwork for the entirety of enrollment at GVK9. Services will be paused until we have received and validated the appropriate proof of vaccination. GVK9 does not contact Vets on behalf of clients.

The full enrollment process at GVK9 is as follows:

• Introduction Daycare Visit: This is a full-day daycare experience (6+ hours) during which our staff will monitor your dog(s) and determine which play group they best fit into, as well as assess their behavior in their suite while resting between playtimes. Trial Daycare price is $30 pre-tax.

• Short Term Boarding Trial: Required 1-night stay if you plan to board for no more than 4 nights at a time. The late check-out fee (+$35 after 11 AM) is waived for this trial. If you only wish to use our daycare services, you do not have to complete a trial overnight to book future daycare visits post successful completion of your dog(s) trial daycare. Trial Boarding price is $55/dog/night pre-tax. Multidog discounts do apply.

• Long Term Boarding Trial: Required 2 or 3 night stay if you ever plan to board for 5 nights or longer at a time. Late check-out fee (+$35 after 11 AM) is waived for this trial. If you only wish to use our daycare services, you do not have to complete a trial overnight to book future daycare visits post successful completion of your dog(s) trial daycare. Trial Boarding price is $55/dog/night pre-tax. Multidog discounts do apply.

Green Valley K9 requires all newly enrolled puppies who enter our facility and our day-care, puppy school, or boarding services to be neutered or spayed no later than 8 months old.

By signing this policy, you agree that your dog will adhere to this timeline. If the timeline is not adhered to, services will not be available for your dog until after spay/neuter is complete.
